Diploma in Early Childhood Development and Education
My three years in this course have provided me with many learning and leadership experiences. I got to hone and develop ample skills related to my industry such as classroom management and lesson planning. I was provided opportunities to explore the 6 main domains of learning for children through the modules and dive more into Child Development and Child Safety.
Music and Dance for Young Children
This module has helped me expand my musical knowledge and learn how to implement musical theories into lesson planning. In this lesson, we incorporated Aesthetics and Creative Expression to teach children the musical notes, Treble and Bass Clef.
Discovery Of The World
This module has equipped me with skills in creating engaging lessons for children where they get to explore their environment using their 5 senses and be more hands-on in their learning. In this activity, I created a discovery centre on the theme of Archaeology.
